Our name is rooted in a dream. Founder Jesus “Omar” Gallegos once sketched his vision of a mini-resort in Central America—an oceanfront escape surrounded by palm trees, waves, and the easy rhythm of life lived well. The Arctic Tern is the longest migrating bird in the world, traveling 59,650 miles each year from the Arctic Circle to the Antarctic Circle and back again, chasing an endless summer.

“Jesus “Omar” Gallegos is a real estate investor, entrepreneur, and hospitality visionary with a passion for creating spaces that inspire connection, adventure, and freedom. He began investing in 1998 at age 22 and has been managing rentals ever since.
For Omar, Freebird Hospitality Group started as more than a business idea—it was a dream sketched on paper. Years ago, while guiding his students through a vision-building project, he drew his own: a resort by the ocean, with palm trees, waves, and a hammock shared with his wife, Mary. That simple drawing became the spark for something much bigger. For Omar, it’s never just about the buildings—it’s about the stories created inside them and the freedom they bring to everyone involved.
As founder of Freebird Hospitality Group, LLC, he transforms short-term rentals, boutique hotels, and resorts into lifestyle-driven destinations for travelers and wealth-building opportunities for investors. His leadership rests on three pillars: financial freedom for investors and unforgettable stays for guests.
When he’s not scouting properties or building partnerships, Omar enjoys exploring new destinations, connecting with fellow entrepreneurs, or relaxing in a hammock with his wife Mary—embracing the same peace and freedom he creates for others.

Her dedication to people’s well-being extends beyond hospitality. As a certified nutrition coach, Mary empowers others to improve their health through natural, clean eating. This commitment to care—whether for guests, team members, or clients—defines her approach to both business and life.
